paper, quartered
Printing a fifty-page deck one slide per sheet is a waste of a ream. Putting four to a sheet makes it a booklet you can read on a train, and putting two side by side makes a comfortable handout. This tool builds that arrangement into the file itself, so it prints the same way from any machine — no print dialog to rediscover on someone else's computer.
Each page is embedded as a page, not photographed: the content stays vector, so text is still selectable and searchable, and a diagram scaled to a quarter is still sharp. Sheet orientation is worked out rather than assumed — the layout tries each arrangement and keeps the one that leaves your pages largest, which is why two portrait pages land on a landscape sheet without you asking.
three steps
It opens in your browser with the same engine that draws our PDF previews. Nothing is uploaded, so a deck you have not presented yet stays on your machine.
Two, four, six or nine. The preview shows the first sheet exactly as it will print, so you can see whether nine is still readable before committing.
A4, Letter, Legal or the size page one already is. Add a thin frame if the pages have white backgrounds and need an edge to be told apart.
quick answers
Yes. Each page is embedded as a page object rather than rendered to an image, so the text layer, the vector art and the sharpness all survive being scaled down.
Because that fits best. Two portrait pages side by side fill a landscape sheet far better than one above the other on a portrait sheet, so automatic orientation picks it. Force portrait or landscape if you would rather decide.
Yes, and that is the point: the arrangement is inside the file, so it prints identically from any computer without hunting through print dialogs for the pages-per-sheet setting.
Reading order — left to right, then down. Page one goes top left, and each sheet is filled before the next one starts.
Each page is measured the way a reader sees it, rotation included, and drawn back the right way up in its cell. A sideways scan does not land on its side.
It stays partly empty rather than being padded or stretched. Nine pages at four per sheet gives you three sheets, the last one holding a single page.
No. Embedding a page keeps its visible content but not its annotations, so clickable links stop being clickable. That is the trade for putting several pages on one sheet.

No. The file is read and rebuilt inside your browser, and the result goes straight to your downloads. There is no server in this tool to send a document to.
