Guide
Which tool do I need?
Start from the category strip above. Convert changes the file format, Optimize keeps the format but shrinks the file, Edit changes what the picture looks like, and Creative turns a photo into something else entirely.
Nothing leaves your device
Every tool here runs on your own machine using the browser Canvas API. Your photos are never uploaded, so there is no queue, no size limit imposed by a server, and no copy of your file sitting in someone else's storage.
Which format should I save as?
WebP gives the smallest files and is supported everywhere that matters today. JPG stays the safest choice for photos going into older software. PNG is for graphics that need sharp edges or transparency.
Working with several files
Batch compress handles up to five images at once and hands back a ZIP. For anything else, tools remember your settings while the page is open, so running a second file takes one click.
