scaled, not redrawn
Documents collected from several places arrive on several sizes: a Letter contract, an A4 appendix, a scan that is neither. Printing that stack means either a jam of manual settings or one shrunken page in the middle. This tool sets every page to one size, scaling the content to fit and centring what is left, so the file prints in a single pass and looks deliberate.
The scaling is a transform, not a re-render: nothing is rasterised, so the text stays selectable and searchable, vector drawings stay sharp at any zoom, and links keep pointing where they did. Nor is anything stretched — the aspect ratio is preserved, because a document with subtly wider letters looks wrong to a reader who cannot say why.
three steps
It opens in your browser with the same engine that draws our PDF previews. Nothing is uploaded, so a contract or an internal report stays on your machine.
A4, Letter, Legal, A3 or A5, or match whatever page one already is. The preview shows the first page on the new sheet, margins and all.
Following each page keeps landscape pages landscape, which is usually what you want in a report with a few wide tables. Forcing portrait or landscape puts everything the same way up.
quick answers
No. Everything is scaled by one factor and centred, so proportions are exactly as they were and the difference in shape shows up as margin. Stretching would distort every letter on the page, which readers notice even when they cannot name it.
Yes. The page is transformed, not redrawn as a picture, so text stays text, vector art stays sharp and the file does not balloon. That is the opposite trade from Compress PDF, which does turn pages into images.
Annotations are scaled by the same factor as the page content, so links stay on top of the words they belong to. The page box moves rather than the content, which is what keeps the two aligned.
No. Scaling a vector page is exact at any factor. A page that is a scan is an image, and enlarging an image does soften it, but no more than opening it at that zoom would.
Each page is measured the way a reader sees it, rotation included. With orientation set to follow each page, a landscape page lands on a landscape sheet instead of being shrunk to fit a portrait one.
Yes — going from A5 to A3 enlarges the content by the same rule. Vector pages come out crisp; scanned pages get larger pixels, exactly as they would in any viewer.
Because the old and new shapes differ. A4 is narrower and taller than Letter, so one of the two dimensions runs out first and the rest becomes margin. That is the honest result of not stretching.

No. The file is read, transformed and rewritten inside your browser, and the result goes straight to your downloads. There is no server in this tool to send a document to.
