the pages you keep are the point

Deleting a page is not the same as hiding it

Printing to PDF with a page range, or hiding pages in a viewer, leaves the original content in the file — anyone can still recover it. Removing a page properly means writing a new document that never contained it, which is exactly what this tool does.

The pages you keep are copied into a fresh PDF, so what is gone is really gone. Everything else is untouched: no re-encoding, no scaling, no quality loss — the remaining pages are byte-for-byte the same content they were before.

quick answers

Delete PDF pages FAQ

Do the deleted pages really disappear?

Yes. The pages you keep are copied into a new document, so the removed ones are not hidden or blanked out — they were never written into the file you download.

Can I delete every page?

No, and the download button stays disabled if you try. A PDF with zero pages is a file that downloads happily and then refuses to open in every reader — better to stop it here.

How do I select a lot of pages quickly?

Click the first one, then shift-click the last one to mark the whole run. Select all followed by clicking the few you want to keep, then Invert, is often the fastest route for long documents.

Are the remaining pages re-compressed?

No. They are copied as-is, so text stays selectable, images keep their resolution, and the visual result is identical to the original.

Why are thumbnails still loading?

They are rendered one at a time as you scroll, which keeps a 300-page document from filling your device's memory at once. You can select and export before they have all appeared.

Is my file uploaded?

No. The PDF is opened, previewed and rewritten entirely in your browser.
